[UX/Approver] Multi-pax travel view for Approver – fixed text visibility and added missing translations

In the previous version, the summary text with total price for multi-pax travellers booking  was not sufficiently visible in the Approver view. To address this, we have implemented visual adjustments, so that information and cost stands out better and it is easier for Approver to notice. Additionally missing translations have been provided.

[Booking flow] Clearing trip view after changing trip type

Previously, the system did not automatically clear trips when changing Trip Type. To address this, we have implemented a feature that ensures trips are immediately cleared when the Trip Type is changed.

[Notilus] SBT API

In our latest product release, we bring you a series of enhancements and issue resolutions aimed at streamlining your experience with Notilus. Here’s what’s new:

1. Resolving Mandatory Data Input
In a previous scenario, leaving a non-mandatory field blank in Notilus custom fields would lead to an unintended lock within the system, requiring a value to proceed. With this release this issue has been successfully resolved, enhancing user workflow by allowing smoother data input without unnecessary constraints.

2. [Hotel] ISO Country Codes via SBT API
Responding to user feedback, we’ve collaborated with the Notilus team to enhance the SBT API. This update adds ISO Country Codes for each service, providing essential information within Notilus to streamline booking workflow.

3. [Hotel] Certificate display issue fixed
We have resolved the technical issue related to the certificate not being generated in Goelett for CNRS-Notilus integration as it is in Goelett Web Application. The user doesn’t have to make a search again without the default search criteria to generate the certificate.

[User profiles] SSO ID now visible in Personal Settings

With this update, users now have access to SSO-related information in their profile settings under “General Data”. This enhancement not only provides users with valuable information but also aids in facilitating technical support and related interactions.

[User profiles] New SBT API endpoint

We added a new API endpoint that optimizes the process of updating user profiles. With this enhancement, data transfer is now more efficient, resulting in faster user profile updates.

[Hotel] Automated cancellation of hotel reservations in BookingInProgress status

We are rolling out a new mechanism called “CancelHotelReservationsInProgress” on the Travel side. This automated process is designed to automatically cancel all hotel reservations linked to trips in the “BookingInProgress” status shortly before the cancellation deadline, typically around 30 minutes prior. As a result of this automation, the status of the segment will transition to “Cancelled,” accompanied by a note in the booking history, indicating that Goelett has automatically cancelled the reservation. This process will be scheduled to run at regular intervals, approximately every 15 minutes. This enhancement streamlines trip management by efficiently addressing hotel reservations stuck in the “BookingInProgress” state.

[Hotel] Displaying cancellation fee in emails

We’ve upgraded our email notifications to provide users with even more valuable information. Now, when a booking is cancelled, the cancellation email will include a new field called “Cancellation Fee.” This field will display the exact amount that needs to be paid for cancelling the booking, in line with the currency and value shown in the traveller’s trip cart. We’ve ensured that translations are consistent with the trip cart terminology for fees, making it easier for users to understand. This improvement is applicable to all email templates, ensuring a streamlined and informative cancellation experience for our users.

[Air] Introducing NDC content label

We have introduced an improvement to differentiate of NDC content from GDS one. Similar to the “Web fare” tag used for Low-Cost Carriers (LCC), NDC content will now be labeled with a distinct tag.

[Sabre] multiple improvements and bug fixes

As part of streamlining the offers appearing from Sabre in Goelett, we acknowledged and addresses the following bugs to improve the booking flow and PNR creation:

– displaying incorrect rate per night for more than one night booking,
– missing data in mini rules: missing airport names and displaying rates for multileg trips,
– sending PNRs with forbidden characters in the analytical fields,
– displaying offers with NN status for travellers,
– wrongly assigned fare conditions for multileg flights in the roundtrip,
– error with adding air to cart,
– no economy rates for AirFrance for the whole search,
– not showing ate conditions for negotiated rates.

[Rail] Fixed control for rail bookings with short Last Ticketing Date

We’ve developed a solution to effectively manage the challenge posed by rail offers with exceptionally short last ticketing dates (LTD). Through this enhancement, TMCs gain the ability to set a minimum required LTD value within the approval flow settings. This threshold determines whether bookings should follow the standard approval process or opt for the immediate ticketing workflow. This improvement prevents the possibility of auto-cancellation and ensures more efficient processing of such bookings.
