We enhanced the Company Trips view to provide quicker access to trip details. Users can now view detailed trip information in a convenient side panel by simply clicking on an individual trip. This improvement streamlines the process of accessing trip details, making it easier for users to manage and review company travel.

Mandatory Community Field Configuration Update

We have updated the configuration for the mandatory community field to provide a more centralized and consistent experience.

The option to make the community field mandatory for profiles and guests has been moved from the Guest Configuration screen to the Personal Settings configuration screen. This change provides a single location for managing this setting.

This update does not change the existing functionality. Companies that have already enabled the mandatory community field for guests will continue to have this setting enforced.

Nominated Approver/Arranger Deactivation Improvement

Goelett has improved the handling of nominated approver/arranger deactivations during CSV imports to provide clearer feedback and prevent potential issues. 

When a nominated approver or arranger is deactivated using a CSV import with the Action “D”, a warning message will now be displayed in the result file logs. This warning, “Approver/arranger (XYZ) not exist,” will appear for any lines where the nominated approver/arranger has been updated.

This improvement helps to ensure that users are aware of any potential issues with approver/arranger deactivations during imports, allowing for prompt corrective action and preventing disruptions to the approval workflow.

Improved Analytical Field Validation in Imports

Goelett has updated the validation process for analytical fields during imports to provide more accurate and informative warning messages.

Previously, if an import file contained an analytical field that existed in Goelett but was created in a context different from the traveler context, a generic warning message was displayed. This message has been revised to specifically indicate that the analytical field does not exist in the traveler context, preventing confusion and ensuring clearer error reporting.

This improvement helps to streamline the import process and reduce potential errors caused by incorrect analytical field usage.

Enhanced Hotel Search via Dashboard Widget

The hotel search functionality within the Goelett dashboard widget has been enhanced to provide greater flexibility and convenience. Users can now search for hotels by typing in a specific hotel name instead of just a location. This feature, powered by Google Maps inventory, makes it easier to find and book desired hotels directly from the dashboard.

Fixed: Hotel Pins Display Issue

An issue has been resolved that prevented hotel pins from displaying correctly on the map for Notilus clients and for clients using the dashboard (quick search).

Hotel pins will now reliably appear on the map during hotel searches, providing clients a seamless and informative booking experience.

Markup Management Enhancements

Building on the Markup Management module introduced in September, we have added new functionalities to provide even greater control and flexibility for TMCs.

New in this Release:

  • Enhanced Markup Calculation
    It is now possible to set Markups as a fixed value in a set currency
  • Travel Policy Integration: 

Markups are now seamlessly integrated into travel policy calculations, providing a more comprehensive view of trip costs and ensuring compliance with company travel policies.

  • PNR Editor Updates: 

New variables have been added to the PNR editor to allow TMCs to send the net price (without markup) to Passenger Name Records (PNRs), providing greater flexibility in managing pricing information.

These enhancements further strengthen the Markup Management module, empowering TMCs with more precise control over pricing strategies and a streamlined workflow for managing markups.

PNR Editor Enhancements

We have introduced several enhancements to the PNR Editor to improve functionality and provide greater flexibility for users.

New Features:

  • Hotel Country Element:
    A new element for hotel country has been added to support customization of hotel passive segments in Sabre PNRs. This allows for the inclusion of the hotel’s country code in the passive segment format.
  • Approver Name Templates:
    New templates have been added to display the approver’s first and last name, providing more detailed information for operational teams.
  • Fare Family Name Variable:
    A new “FareFamily name” variable has been added to the AIR section, allowing TMC administrators to include the fare family name from a booked air service directly into the PNR.

These enhancements provide users with more comprehensive information and greater control over the data captured in PNRs, improving efficiency and accuracy.

Enriched Seat Map for OUIGO Train Bookings

The Goelett platform now offers an improved seat map experience for OUIGO train bookings, including support for both OUIGO Grande Vitesse and OUIGO Train Classique. The seat map now clearly displays the prices of paid seats for both OUIGO Grande Vitesse and OUIGO Train Classique, allowing travelers to make informed seating choices. The seat map functionality, previously available only for OUIGO Grande Vitesse, has been extended to include OUIGO Train Classique.

Travelfusion NDC: New Parameters and Agency Credentials for All New Airlines

We have expanded Goelett’s Travelfusion NDC airline integrations to include new carriers and enhanced features, providing a wider range of travel options and a more streamlined booking experience.

With this change we will support more NDC carrier by adding additional parameters requires by certain carries (e.g. British Airways, LOT).
